Corey Harland, MS
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Corey brings a wealth of experience and a strong educational background, which spans decades of dedicated work with youth and families facing formidable barriers in the realms of mental health, chemical health, and the legal system. His unwavering commitment to advocacy has consistently placed his clients’ best interests at the forefront. What sets his approach apart is the emphasis on empowering youth to actively participate in their own treatment, fostering more profound connections between the services provided and the care recipients.
His professional journey has been diverse, encompassing roles as a case manager, organizational training manager, and executive leader. He’s navigated through various sectors including corrections, treatment courts, vocational rehabilitation, psychiatric residential care, policy development, police oversight, and nonprofit and mental health services. This multifaceted background has equipped him with a deep understanding of the intricacies of these systems and a unique perspective on how to address the challenges they present.
Notably, he also holds government-appointed roles on the MN State Advisory Council/Subcommittee on Children’s Mental Health and the MN Board of Behavioral Health. His active involvement in national civil rights groups underscores his commitment to advancing social justice and equity.
His passion, however, lies in reshaping the futures of at-risk youth and their communities. His approach focuses not only on addressing the immediate issues these youth face but also on nurturing their long-term potential. He believes in the importance of making the youth central participants in their journey to self-improvement.
Furthermore, Corey is dedicated to changing the trajectory of how organizations engage with and support their clients. His vision centers around instilling a sense of accountability and promoting a more just and equitable way of life. Through a collaborative approach and an unwavering dedication to person-centered care, he envisions a future where organizations offer opportunities that truly transform lives.
